Recently visited Artesa during a wine-tasting trip to Napa and Sonoma. Artesa is definitely a stand-out. Slightly out of the way location. We visited Artesa in May of 08. We found the view from the visitor's center amazing. If I was getting married in Napa, this would be the place to do it. But the wine was just fair. The $10 tasting fee was all I was willing to spend here. more

I can't say that they have the best wine, but what i will say is that it is by far the most amazing view in Napa. Simply incredible! It was so amazing, i proposed to my girlfriend there. We like the wine even though we know there are better places in Napa, but no place beats the view. Hands down... more

Memorable winery built into the peak of a hill in the Carneros area. The bustling tasting room was decorated with interesting art. The friendly pourers weren't terribly knowledgeable, but the wines were terrific. Beatiful views outside on the terrace, and the fountains on the grounds are fun to watch. more

Visited the Artesa Vineyards & Winery for a corporate reception. Arrived just before sunset, the vineyards and entrance to the winery are beautifully landscaped. This place totally looks like an art museum instead of a vineyard. I was very impressed with the architechture and modern deco. They have excellent sparkling wines. I think they've got one of the best views in the whole Napa Valley. more
