This place rocks...the intertainment is split between a DJ/MC and a band...I can't for the life of me remember their name, but the lead guitar player is asian...I love this bar. Drinks are resonably pricd for New Orleans, the staff is friendly, helpful and fun, and when the band is on stage, they even cater to / interact with older... more

This place was the best, they had a live band, that played old skool and the dj cut it up with old skool rap. The MC, guy with spiked hair, kept the place hype and welcomed all visitors. I will definately go here again. Also you can get a shot of ANY drink for $3.00!! more

After meandering through Bourbon Street several times on July 4th (2005) we finally settled on the 544 Club and definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to listen to some great music. Ive been going to New Orleans for over 30 years and it is the best music on Bourbon Street. Billy Gregory is fablous on the guitar. I wish I could have found out about this bar sooner!!! Im a HUGE fan and would reccomend everyone to go to this bar! Not only is the music to die for the people... more

The 554 was a great place to be out on bourbon St. I only wish we had found it sooner so we could've had more time there. If you like great blues then I advise you to check it out. Stop in with your girl and have a great time too! The drinks were great and say hello to Big... more

I have been going to New Orleans for the past 20 Years. Whenever I'm there my friends and I look forward to going to the 544 club, to see Gary Brown. Well it could have been the time of year but 544 was great fun. I was there for Mardi Gras and it was perfect. I think Gary Brown the music for that night and a frequent musician there had great energy. The club is dark and somewhat small with red brick floor and a cozy dance floor that can fit... more
