what a great weekend break. The entertainment ,food and hotel were excellent. more
We stayed two nights at this hotel in June 2008 as we were going to a gig at the Millennium Stadium. The Saturday night we were charged £252 for the night...what a joke! Here are the some of gripes we had: The comments card was stained and already written on. •stained furniture •On the first morning the bed was made... more
Myself and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel at the end of June 2008 for a mid-week break away. We paid £62.50 a night through Active Hotels, which I would say was very resonable for the hotel, easily a 4 star hotel. We had a huge room with separate sleeping area and a separate sitting area with tv, desk and... more
It is what it is! A modern hotel, serving a purpose on the outskirts of town. We secured a good deal through one of the websites and for the money, it was OK. Our original room (519) was near some kind of air conditioning unit, so very noisy but after a little persuasion we were moved down the corridor. The... more
Booked on Laterooms at £59 for room only (breakfast costs an extra tenner), the hotel is quite rural with a large lake and lots of car parking. Rooms are well furnished and much better than your average Travel Lodge, with Skysports 1, 2 and 3 on your tv, plus you get use of the leisure facilities on the lower floor.... more
stayed at this hotel for one night as part of a business trip. Arrived late but was accomodated for and made to feel welcome. ordered fish and chips and it was lovely. Service slightly slow but it was busy (the champions league final was on!) We are a large group and hald wanted to eat at the bar the other... more
Theatre break was excellent value. Staff very helpful, facilities good, rooms reasonable, thoroughly recommended. more
Stayed here for one night to go to an event in Cardiff Bay. It was MUCH better value than any hotels in the city centre/Bay area. We paid £65 for a double mid week. The hotel is easy to find and has a good size car park. It's surrounded by a very busy road but we didn't hear any traffic... more
This has got to be very high up on my list of favourite modern hotels. Travelling with my mother, who uses a wheelchair, we were upgraded to a splendid suite style room with separate bedroom and sitting room areas, beautifully decorated, and view nice views over a large duckpond. Staff could not do enough to help us. I thoroughly enjoyed... more
We have again stayed at this excellent hotel on the outskirts of Cardiff. We booked direct by email with the hotel and yet again received really friendly, helpful and efficient service from David Crompton, one of their Reservations Agents. When we arrived we were delighted with our room which had a separate bedroom area which gave us lots more room... more
