Dar Soukaina is a lovely little Riad, far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the souks and Djamaa El Fna but close enough to never feel out of the action. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but it is the staff that really make the place. It was so nice to come back after a day's haggling and... more

We are a familly, and we already stayed at Dar Soukaina last year, and because we enjoyed our stay, we realy love to return back this year. We appreciate the high level of their service, the staff provide the most amasing and friendly service, we can access to internet which I use now to do this, the property is also... more

Just a quick note to say what a great place to stay. Very pretty small rooms and really helpful staff. Based in the North of the Souks its in a perfect place away from the mayhem! One tip we would give is to get yourselves a guide for the day, we have the contact details of one who was brilliant... more

This was the highlight of our trip all around Morocco. The staff were so friendly and always on hand to attend to any of our needs. The riad was beautiful and there is lots of attention to detail in the interior furnishings in all the rooms. We ended up spending all our time in Marrakesh buying things we had in... more

First of all, I am a really spoiled traveller so it takes quite a lot to impress me. We just stayed in Dar Soukaina with my fiancee for four nights, after 10 days of travelling throughout Morocco. It is an oasis of calm and kindness in the middle of Marrakech medina. This is not your typical riad with tiles, fountains,... more

Personnel extremely nice and attentif. Rooms carefully designed with a special attention for details. The price (80 euros for a std double room) is perhaps a bit high, but is a good bargain for such a nice stay. more

We stayed at Dar Soukaina for five nights and found it to be absolutely wonderful. We were picked up at the airport and given a fresh glass of orange juice upon arrival. The hotel man was beyond kind, showing us the sights on a map and giving us directions. Breakfast was delicious, with bread, pancakes, orange juice and mint tea.... more

I just wanted to say a very big thank you to all staff of Dar Soukaina! Me and my freind, thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sesame at Dar Soukaina. The building was an oasis of calm in a busy Souk/Medina area! Dinner the first night was excellent and my daughter suggested it was the best meal she had eaten in... more

This Riad is in two halves; the owners own two separate properties directly across an alleyway from each other. We stayed for 5 nights in the newer property, with a small pool in the courtyard. Rooms were very clean, staff friendly and professional, and the place was quite peaceful when we were there, despite being fairly busy. They have internet... more

Marrakesh is a wonderful, facinating, busy, noisey place, not to be missed. Dar Soukaina is an absolute oasis of calm - we were welcomed with fresh orange juice, pepermint tea and cakes. It is wonderful and the rooms authentic Morrocan style. The breakfasts were lovely and there were guides and maps in each of the rooms to be used during... more
