We had no trouble finding the location because we arranged to have someone from the B&B pick us up. It was about the price of a taxi and it was so nice to just have someone waiting for us when we arrived. It alleviated a lot of the stress of arriving in a new and foreign city. The B&B was about four or five blocks from Nevsky Prospect and the heart of things. It's also that far from the train station, major bus stops, and the metro, so it's very convenient but not right in the middle of everything. One of the bus stops has a shuttle and a bus that runs regularly to the airport. We had no issues with getting there when we were leaving. I don't know the bus numbers off the top of my head, but you can easily find which ones to take online (or from Nadja). It is also right next door to a 24-hour mart and a grocery store, which is very convenient. We would stop into the food mart for a water to take with us for the day or maybe even a beer at the end of the day. The price is extremely reasonable, and the rooms are large and comfortable. Internet access was free, which was wonderful. Some may have an issue with sharing a bathroom with other rooms, but it was never, not even once, an issue for us. There are two bathrooms and most of the time, both were available (which was also nice since there were three of us), but there was never a time when at least one wasn't. In fact, it felt like believe our room had the one all to ourselves for the most part. The bathrooms were nice and the water pressure was good. The breakfast part of the B&B was a fend for yourself situation, which worked just fine for us. You don't get "hotel" service, such as a concierge or a front desk, but if you can fend for yourself for the most part, it's perfect. And if we needed help, our hosts, though not on location, were an email or call away. When we communicated by email, the response was always timely. And while English isn't Nadja's first language or even her second, it was very good and we had no communication issues. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again. Thanks so much, Nadja, for your hospitality.…
