We wanted a place to stay on the beach when visiting our brother who lives in the area. Aquarius was just as advertised...a nice little place right on a very beautiful beach.

Our room was typical motel-like but very clean and not worn looking or anything. The kitchen was wonderful as we were able to get groceries and have breakfasts and lunches quick and easy so as to spend more time on the beach!

The only complaint we had is the group of young adults in the rooms right next to ours. They would come in late (2am) and sit out on the balcony walkway right outside their doors and talk and laugh loudly for a good hour some nights. We put on the air/fan in our room and it drowned them out for the most part. This is not really the resorts fault though and we would definitely stay here again if coming to Vero Beach.

My family had stayed here in the past and had a good time, but this will be our last stay at the Aquarius motel. Before we even arrived we problems with our method of payment. Upon arrival I was questioned about my choice of payment again( in a not so nice way). I tried to get over that and enjoy my self. the parking is very tight, dings in car doors at your own risk. The hotel is older and the accommodations are as well. The pool closed 30 minutes early and opened 30 minutes late. The Beach is beautiful and the sun rise is amazing. We will go back to Vero, but not to the Aquarius.

My family stayed at Aquarius for 1 week. We do a considerable amount of travelin, thus, we had some very nice places to stay, and some real bad ones. This motel is an in-betweener. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a small kitchen. Looking out the kitchen window, we could see the ocean. Only a couple of rooms actually have a view of the ocean. The suite was adequate for our needs. The motel is family owned and operated. Theresa at the front desk was exceptionally helpful in answering questions and giving suggestions. One of the nicest aspects of this property is that the beach is very large and very clean. There is very little activity on the beach. Needless to say, my family spent alot of time on the beach.
The swimming pool is small. In fact the only bad thing about our stay was a group of individuals who basically took total control of the pool, the best sitting areas, and the lounge chairs.
People complained about the small parking lot. The parking lot was a little tight, but there was never an issue of getting in/out of the lot. The only way out is primarily backward driving. There is usually no room to turn around. You better be decent at driving backwards. :-)
All in all, this is a decent place, worth the money.

We came down to stay at Aquarius every summer before moving to Florida several years ago. We still have family that comes each year and stays here and we all love it.

Down to earth people and very friendly management. The owner couldn't be nicer and is always out and about talking to everyone. You get to know people as you see them each summer and it became tradition.

People all over the world stay here and the rooms are big, roomy with decent kitchens. It's always kept clean by staff and there is a laundry room near the rooms. Clean, small pool with plenty of pool chairs. The resort is right on a beautiful, clean beach that is never very crowded. There is a big area with lots of tables for get-togethers..some covered..some not. Tiki huts near several barbeques make outdoor cooking fun. There is even a shuffleboard area for your enjoyment. Really loved this place and our visiting relatives still enjoy coming to stay here..won't stay anywhere else. In fact, they are staying there again (for about the 10th year in a row) right now!
