Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is clearly the most friendliest, beautiful place to stay. The lodges are amazing and fully equipped with everything you need. The staff are excellent and extremely helpful. Keswick is just 5 minutes away in the car or a lovely walk down the old railway track accessible from the site. We stayed in January and February overlooking the River Greta. The lodges are warm and spacious and very homely. We have booked already for next January and probably February as well . Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

Just spent Christmas week at Low Briery. It was our 4th visit, but the 1st time we have stayed in Barrow Lodge. Apart from the rather wild weather, we once again had a fantastic time. The lodge is just stunning and has literally everything you will ever need. Very quiet and a lovely walk into Keswick. Highly recommended Thank you once again Low Briery 👍

The lodge we stayed in was amazing. Extremely well equipped. It was next to the River Greta which was in full flow and looked amazing. Although it was poor weather when we were there we managed to get out each day. The old railway footpath to Keswick or Threlked which was just past reception was a great bonus. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked again for next year.

Room Tip: The lodges that are river side offer the best views and have decking alongside the river.

This was our 4th stay at Low Briery and once again we loved it. This time we stayed in Bleaberry Lodge which was really nice. It was clean, spacious, had a lovely decking area and plenty of space to park 2 cars. The holiday park is situated in a lovely and peaceful area just outside Keswick. It’s the ideal place to stay for exploring Keswick and the surrounding area.

Just returned from a visit to Low Briery. We have used this as a base for many years. This time, we stayed in one of the new lodges. Very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. As ever the staff are very friendly and attentive. Low Briey is an excellent quiet base on the edge of the River Greta when exploring Keswick and the surrounding area. 5 minutes drive to the town centre or around 20 minutes walk along the well kept path ( previously the old railway line) that runs behind the site. Looking forward to returning in May 2024.

Stayed in one of the pods for 2 nights. Lovely location, right next to the river. The whole site was very clean, friendly staff, the pod itself is small and cosy, ideal for 2 nights. It's only a shirt walk into Keswick. A great place for a quiet break, especially as the mobile signal is limited; perfect
